Who We Are:
InGenius Prep was founded in 2013 by law students at Harvard and Yale. In that time, the company has grown to a team of more than 190 full-time employees, 600 part-time employees, as well as offices in the U.S., Canada, China, amongst other countries.

What We Do:
Our primary focus is assisting students in applying to U.S. Colleges and Graduate schools. Our company is fast-paced and exciting. We operate as a team, and everyone is given opportunities to advance in the organization.

How You’ll Help:
We are looking for Graduate Coaches who will be part of our Education team. Graduate Coaches work directly with students, helping them with applications and extracurricular profiles. The opportunity for growth in this position will be determined by the counselor’s individual strengths and weaknesses. This role will be in-office.

What You’ll Do:

  • 1-on-1 counseling with students aged 14-17 to build their applications;
    • Meet remotely and in person with students;
    • Guide students to select colleges, majors, and make application plans;
    • Guide and teach students to write application essays, prepare for interviews, and fill in forms;
    • Edit essays and provide feedback to foster students’ independent writing skills;
    • Provide comprehensive support to students as they prepare their applications;
    • Build and maintain trustworthy relationships with families and students;
    • Collaborate with a team of up to three counselors to support each student’s progress;
  • 1-on-1 counseling with students aged 14-17 to build their extra-curricular profiles;
    • Generate creative trajectories and projects for students’ extracurricular development;
    • Manage students' progress in different programs related to personal development and college admissions;
    • Build and maintain trustworthy relationships with families and students;
    • Collaborate with a team of up to three counselors to support each student’s progress;
  • Work alongside the Education Team to create and implement comprehensive curriculum to be used by our counselors;
  • Spearhead online classes for our students (eg., develop and teach group writing classes);
  • Manage and train both part-time and full-time counselors.

You’ll Be a Good Fit If You Have:

  • Phenomenal writing skills;
  • Experience working with students;
  • A Bachelors Degree from a US college/university
  • Bonus if you have:
    • An advanced degrees
    • Undergraduate or high school teaching experience
    • Admissions experience is optional, but a big bonus.
